Taslima Nasreen’s “Nirbasan” is one book of current interest. It was asked in IBPS CWE PO 2012 and you can expect this in upcoming competitive exams too. Apart from this none of the Indian Booker prize winning books are mentioned, which are of great importance in exam point of view.
Midnight Children by Salman Rushdie
God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai.
These three are the books of Indian origin which received booker prize.
Above is a good collection of books given by the author, but in my point of view most are outdated questions and may not appear in competitive exams.
