71st Golden Globe Awards of 2014:

Golden Globe Awards ceremony for 2014 year held on 13th January. It is often seen as an Oscar forecaster. The two films 12 Years a Slave based on 19th century slave narrative and American Hustle based on the Abscam scandal of the late 1970 are on top of the Globes winning best motion picture and best comedy or musical motion picture respectively. American Hustle was the big winner film which snatched two acting honors — Amy Adams for best actress (comedy or musical) and Jennifer Lawrence for best supporting actress. Film ‘Gravity’ the space thriller also earned honor, winning best director for Alfonso Cuaron.
