  • 01 February 2017: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the Budget 2017-18 in the Lok Sabha. This is his fourth budget as Finance Minister. It is the first time that Union and railway budget have been presented together. Government has marginally revised the GDP growth rate for 2015-16 to 7.9 per cent from the earlier estimate of 7.6 percent.
