Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Entrance Examination is notified in the month of May/June. The entrance examination is held in the month of August every year.
Courses offered: Film and Television Institute of India offers three different courses. These are as follows:
- Three year full time course of Master’s degree in photography, direction, sound and recording design and cinematography
- Two year diploma course in Master’s degree in art direction, production design and acting
- One year certificate course in computer graphics and animation
- One and half year certificate course on direction, video editing,
- Feature film screen play writing, sound recording, electronic cinematography and television engineering
Eligibility criteria to appear in the entrance test: Candidates who have passed their three degree course can sit for Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Entrance Examination.
But the bachelor’s degree will be in any of the subjects mentioned below-
- Fine arts
- Applied arts
- Interior design
Another important criterion is that the candidates should have Physics as one of their optional subjects in 10+2 standard.
Film and Television Institute of India has got approval from the government of India and affiliation from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
