Vishwanath Temple: 155 km from Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges, Uttarkashi, an important stop on the way north to Mangold Dham. There are many temples, the most important Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Shiva. Gateway to the Dham Badirnath Joshi Mutt is the home of the first established Adi Shankracharya. Narasimha Temple Vasudeva, and was built by Adi Shankracharya.

Devaprayag: 70 km from Rishikesh on the road to Badrinath is an ancient shrine Devaprayag, at the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirath. It is an old temple of Adi Shankracharya settled here, enshrining Rama (Raghunatha). There are also Hanuman Temple, Badrinath, Kaal Bhairav and Shiv. Brahma Dasharatha and Rama are here to worship.

Ram Lakshman Jhoola: Important are also given in Rishikesh and Lakshman Jhoola Jhoola Ram Mandir Bharat Mandir and Lakshman, the brother of Lord Rama, and SWARGASHRAM Geeta Bhavan temples. Nilkanth 12 kms from Rishikesh, Mahadeo Temple is situated at an altitude of about 5000 feet, commanding magnificent views of the region.

Tridevi Ghat, which is a confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and the legendary Saraswati rivers, is a sacred place for swimming. After sunset, as part of the Aarti ceremony, the lights will be set on the surface of water, offers a magnificent view.

Hari-ki-Pauri: The main ghat in Haridwar, known as Hari-ki-Pauri (With a footprint of Vishnu on a stone in the wall) is located in the vicinity Gangadwara Temple, the largest of several temples that dot this city. Also important are the Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Pawan Dham Temple and Lal Mata Temple, a perfect replica of the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kashmir.
