Independence or National Days are perhaps the most important day for a country to commemorate as a national holiday. For many nations the date is the country’s day of independence, often in hard fought battles to claim their freedom.
Some national holidays commemorate a significant day in the history of the country, or the birth of a national hero who helped establish the day the country’s independence was declared.
