Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

The JEE Board in order to help of Govt. of Orissa, directs this entrance test namely Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The entrance examination is seized at preferred centers in Orissa for admission to the first year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and to the Lateral Entry of State candidates to third semester of degree courses in Engineering/Technology, HMCT and Pharmacy. For getting admission in both confidential and administration engineering colleges located in Orissa the JEE is accomplished.

Outside Orissa contestants are not eligible for admission in Government colleges but they are eligible for admission to confidential colleges except confidential medical (MBBS/BDS) colleges.

Eligibility and Condition for emerging the IIT Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is as below. Candidates fit in to GE, OBC and DS class have to be born on October 01, 1985 or after that. For SC, ST and PD candidates have to be born on October 01, 1980 or after that.

Passing year for qualifying examination have to passed the XII standard or comparable examination, after 1st October 2008 or in the year 2009 or will be appearing in 2010. Candidates fit in to GE, OBC and DS class have to be secure at least 60% marks and candidates fit in to SC, ST and PD class have to be secure at least 55% marks.

Candidates can attend Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) only twice, in the following years. After qualifying in JEE Entrance Test, if u has received admission by paying occupied fees at any of the IITs, then you will not be qualified to write JEE Entrance Test at all.

Pattern of Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Exam:
There are two question papers which would consist of three sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Objective type of questions are asked and planned to test the conception and investigative ability of the candidates. For incorrect questions the test paper has negative marking.

The candidates who are engrossed to join in B.Arch. and B.Des they have to be eligible the Aptitude Test which is conducted at each therapy institute and then called for therapy. The test will consist of two papers or two sets and each of two hours from 10.00 am to 12.00 in afternoon and from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. Those candidates who are not being eligible the Aptitude Test will not be adequate for admission in B.Arch. or B.Des Courses. The query papers of aptitude test will be in English only.

a) On-line: For online capitulation of application, please visit any of the official websites given below and carefully follow the instructions before submitting the application. Payment system for online fee through credit and debit cards of major banks.

b) Off-line: A candidates has to buy an application form along with information Brochure from any one of the selected branches of banks.
