Rajasthan Technical University was recognized in 2005 to convey technology and engineering edification to students hopeful to be an engineer from Rajasthan. This University conducts Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test to have the admission into different B. Tech. branches into their different colleges spread across Rajasthan. The authorized name for this test is Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test (RPET) for Pharmacy, Architecture and Engineering. Every college in Rajasthan accept RPETEAP merit ranking for the admission into any architecture or engineering college whether it’s a government or private.
MNIT, Jaipur conducts the RPET exam for the admissions of B.Tech, B.E and B.Arch courses in different Engineering colleges located in Rajasthan. The qualified students from the residents of Rajasthan with inclusion of the wards of kashmiri migrants are eligible for the admission into their 1st year U.G program which leads to their Bachelors degree in respected disciples like B.E or B.Tech in private or government technical colleges of Rajasthan except MNIT, BITS pilani and further deemed Universities and Private Universities for that respected era.
Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test Qualification Criteria: Given are some educational qualification criterions in Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test Examination.
● Educational Qualification: The least academic qualification for admittance to B.Tech or B.E. program in RPET is to complete 10+2 or Class XII Examinations of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or several other examination familiar equivalents to Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan.
● Age Limit: The candidates whose date of birth were 26 or below on 1st of October are eligible. But, for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Physically Handicapped candidates, higher age limit is tranquil by five years. The Date of birth which was in the Secondary Education certificate or mark sheet will only be considered as authentic.
Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test Exam Pattern:
RPET-2011 will be composed of single examination of 3 hours period. It was mentioned in detail below:
1. It has forty objective type questions in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
2. There are a total of 120 questions each consists of one mark. For wrong answer there is no negative mark. The booklet consists of questions written in English plus Hindi.
Reservation of seats: For Scheduled Castes students there will be forty eight seats available. For Scheduled Tribes students there will be twenty four seats available. For Military personnel or Ex-servicemen quota students there will be ten seats available and for physically handicapped students two seats are available.
