  • Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL), the country’s leading private FM radio operator, popularly known as Radio Mirchi, on Tuesday reported a net profit growth of 59.4%.
  • The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its nod to the Jet Airways -Etihad deal, to acquire 24 per cent in the Indian carrier. Jet earlier said that it expects to complete the transaction this quarter.
  • Costlier vegetables and fruits, such as onions and tomatoes, drove retail inflation to 10.09% in October. The consumer price index (CPI) was last in the double digits seven months back. The CPI was at 9.84% in September.
  • Idea Cellular today slashed 2G data tariffs by up to 90 per cent across the country and 3G tariffs by as much as 33 percent for six months starting November 15. The reduced tariffs will be available to existing and new prepaid and postpaid users.
