  • JSW Steel today reported almost 47 per cent rise in crude steel production at 9.91 lakh tonnes in July, over the corresponding month of last year.
  • Budget airline SpiceJet Ltd posted a 10% decline in profit in the three months ended June, generally regarded as one of the best quarters for domestic carriers, on a weak rupee and the higher cost of jet fuel. Net profit dropped to Rs.50.6 crore from Rs.56 crore a year ago.
