  • Assistant sub inspector Dilip Shirker shot dead senior inspector before hurting himself inside Vakola Police Station in Mumbai. He died on the spot while senior inspector Vilas Joshi died in the hospital on May 2, 2015.
  • Jashodaben, wife of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, filed an application under RTI in Mehsana district for second time on May 2, 2015. She wants the details of security provided to her after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister but she has been denied information twice on security protocol and entitlements.
