  • Gurpreet Singh Sandhu is Indian footballer and he became the first Indian footballer to start for a top tier European club with Norway’s Stabaek FC Stabæk which plays in Tippeligaen, Norway’s premier football league on 23rd April.
  • Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Abdul Karim Tunda was on Thursday discharged by a trial court in connection with two separate blast cases that took place in the city in 1997.
