  • Aparna, a Kerala athlete, died in her attempt to suicide with other three colleagues on May 7, 2015 while other three girls were hospitalized. Relatives of the athletes alleged that the girls were being harassed by senior at the Sports Authority of India centre in Kerala.
  • RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan better known as Pappu Yadav was expelled from the party for six years on May 7, 2015 due to his anti-party activities and indiscipline.
  • Seven executive members of Aam Aadmi Party have resigned from the party on May 7, 2015 to support party’s dissident leader Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan. They also objected the appointment of Naresh Balyan as Haryana’ affair in-charge.

  • Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister had launched Pentavalent Vaccine programme in Tirupati on May 7, 2015 to promote the infant vaccination. The vaccine would protect infants form five major life threatening diseases of Diphtheria, Tetanus, Hepatitis B, Pertussis and Pneumonia.
