Hawa Mahal is a luxurious palace located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Actually, this is a large walled wall, which was mainly made for the royal family’s women so that they can enjoy the festivals on the road from within, because they were not allowed to go out. This fort has been constructed with red and pink sandstones this palace is located on the edge of the City Palace and spreads to the women’s room. Hawa Mahal is a five-storey monument, which is 50 feet (15 m) in height from its main base. The dimensions of the width of the top three floors of the palace is as much as a room, while the bottom two floors also have open patio, which is in the rear of the palace.
This palace was constructed in the year 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The Palace is designed by the Lal Chand Ustad and it was made as the crown of Hindu God Krishna. The unique five-storey exterior part of this palace it seems like Bees Honeycomb. There 953 small windows. Another attraction in the palace is the curved side of the wall. Like other monuments built in Jaipur, this palace is also made of red and pink colors. The Hawa Mahal is supervised by the archaeological department of Rajasthan Government. In the year 2005, after a long interval of about 50 years, the work of repair and renovation of the castle was done at a large scale.
