Father of Indian Constitution and spokesman of Dalits, “Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar” was born on 14 April 1891 in a small village of Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow Cantonment) in Madhya Pradesh. Bhimrao Ambedkar is recognized as a world-class lawmaker, Dalit political leader and chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s personal library “Rajgruha” had more than 50,000 books and was the world’s largest private library. He had the knowledge of 9 languages like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, French, Pali, German, Marathi, Persian and Gujarati. He studied all the religions of the world in comparative studies for nearly 21 years. He was the first law minister of Independent India. He was posthumously awarded with India’s Highest civilian honor  Bharat Ratna by Government of India in 1990.
