The River Thames is a river that flows through southern England. It is the longest river with a total length of 215 miles (346 km) entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom. London Bridge have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark,  which opened to traffic in 1974, is a box girder bridge built from concrete and steel.
