Meghalaya Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued notification for the recruitment of the 70 Assistant District Project Officers, Soil & Water Conservation Ranger, Assistant Employment Officer and other posts. Assistant Teacher (Bengali): 01 Post, 7. Computer Teacher in Shillong/Jowai: 03 Posts, 8. Training Officer: 01 Post, 9. Inspector of Legal Metrology: 05 Posts, 10. Sub-Inspector of Supply:04 Posts, 11. Assistant System Engineer: 01 Post, 12. Computer Clerk:01 Post, 13. Draftsman: 01 Post, 14. Lower Division Assistant: 05 Posts, 15. Junior Divisional Accountant: 24 Posts, 16. Assistant Conservator: 02 Posts, 17. Assistant Employment Officers: 04 Posts, 18. Soil & Water Conservation Ranger: 06 Posts, 19. Age Limit: Candidates 21-27 years for Assistant Employment Officers, 20 to 27 years for Assistant Conservator post and 18 to 27 years for remaining other posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master Degree holders in Environmental Education/Environmental Science and Ecology preferably with B.Ed, Graduates with Honours in Geography and having B, Bachelor of Engineering (Degree Holder) in Mechanical or Electrical or Computer Engineering from any University/ Institution recognised by Government of Meghalaya, Graduate in any stream and B.Sc. Computer Science (Hons)/BCA. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.
Examination Fee: Candidate has to pay the fee of Rs.460/- for posts at Sl. No. 8, 16 & 19 , Rs.350/- For posts at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 15,17 & 18 and Rs.320/- for posts at Sl. No. 10, 12, 13 & 14. The Fee should be paid through MPSC Challan Form. For SC/ST candidate has to pay the half the rate of the pay, who are permanent resident of the State of Meghalaya.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test/ interview.
How to Apply:  Eligible candidates can obtain the application form as mentioned above fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature & one ordinary blank envelope cover with Rs.5/- affixed stamp and send it through Registered Post along with Challan and Copies of all relevant certificates, to Office Counter of MPSC, Office Headquarter, Shillong on any working day between 10:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on or before 16-08-2013 for Offline mode. For Online mode candidates can apply online through the website and submit the online application on or before 16-08-2013 up to 23:59 hrs.
