Moortidevi Award

The prestigious Moortidevi award is literature award, which is given by the Bharatiya Jnanpith. On 16th December 2017 the famous Bengali Poet Joy Goswami was selected by the bharatiya jnanpith for the 31st moortidevi award in 2017. He is the first Bengali writer to receive this honor. This award was given to him for his poem collection ‘Du Dondo Phowara Matro’.
